The Worst Headaches You Can Imagine
I resigned myself to just living with excruciating headaches for the rest of my life until a friend suggested I look up Orland Park chiropractors online and make an appointment. I failed to see the connection between severe headaches and chiropractors until I did some research online and saw that there is very much a connection. I thought I got them due to genetics or some dietary deficiency or even stress, but it turns out pinched nerves can cause them. It also turns out that chiropractors can often ease these headaches through various techniques that take pressure off of your nerves.
I was skeptical up until I had my last headache, and boy was it a doozy. It was the worst one yet. I spent days lying in a darkened room because any amount of light would cause extreme pain and nausea. As the headache finally eased, I knew I couldn’t go on like this any longer. I couldn’t afford to miss work and miss out on life because of constant headaches. So I went online and made an appointment to see the chiropractor and hoped I wouldn’t get another headache before the visit.
The chiropractor asked me a lot of questions about my activities, diet, and stress level and then did some poking and prodding to determine if the cause of the headaches was related to back pain, muscle tension, or nerve damage. She thought it was tight muscles and set up a few more appointments so she could work her magic. I say it’s magic because by the second visit I certainly felt better. After the third, however, I felt a headache coming but it wasn’t bad and went away a few hours later. I have to say since seeing the chiropractor, my headaches have largely disappeared. I’m so glad I made the decision to see her.
